Magnesium alloy roofing panel

Magnesium alloy roofing panel is composed of magnesium alloy sheet, insulation layer, waterproof layer, and edge components.

Magnesium alloy sheet: Made of hollow reinforced magnesium alloy sheet.

Insulation layer: A layer of insulation material is added under the magnesium alloy sheet to improve the insulation performance of the magnesium alloy roofing panel.

Waterproof layer: A layer of waterproof material is covered above the magnesium alloy sheet to ensure the waterproof performance of the magnesium alloy roofing panel.

Edge components: Special components such as steel coils and U-shaped profiles are added at the edges to ensure the installation and stability of the magnesium alloy roofing panel.

Magnesium alloy grades for  roofing panel

AZ31: This alloy, composed of approximately 3% aluminum and 1% zinc, is commonly used in various applications due to its good balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and formability. AZ31 can be suitable for roofing panels, providing lightweight construction and resistance to atmospheric corrosion.

AZ91: With approximately 9% aluminum and 1% zinc, AZ91 offers increased strength compared to AZ31. It may be suitable for roofing panels requiring higher mechanical properties and improved resistance to external forces or impacts.

ZK60: This alloy, containing about 6% zinc and 0.5% zirconium, exhibits high strength and good corrosion resistance. ZK60 can be a suitable choice for roofing panels that require enhanced strength and durability
