Commercial titanium has grades TA1, TA1 and TA3 according to its impurity content. The interstitial impurity elements of these Commercial titanium gradually increase, so their mechanical strength and hardness also increase step by step, but the plasticity , toughness decreased accordingly. TA1 is the softest and most malleable of these grades. It has maximum formability, excellent corrosion resistance and high impact toughness. TA1 can be selected when better formability is required.
