TA3
Commercial titanium titanium has grades TA1, TA2, and TA3 according to its impurity content. The interstitial impurity elements of these commercial titanium titanium gradually increase, so their mechanical strength and hardness also increase step by step, but the plasticity , toughness decreased accordingly. TA3 can be used when the requirements for wear resistance and strength are high.
TA3 can be forged, extruded, rolled and cold drawn, and cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, and is generally used in the annealed state;
TA3 titanium alloy welding: argon shielded arc is widely used, and it can also be used for plasma welding, resistance welding, gas shielded diffusion welding, etc.
Application fields:
It is mainly used for stamping parts and corrosion-resistant structural parts with a working temperature below 360 degrees, low stress but high plasticity, such as aircraft skeleton and skin, engine accessories, seawater corrosion-resistant pipes, valves, and pumps for ships. Seawater desalination system components, chemical heat exchangers, pump bodies, distillation towers, coolers, agitators, tees, impellers, fasteners, ion pumps, compressor valves, and diesel engine pistons, connecting rods etc.
