Among various titanium materials, TA2 is commonly used in industry because of its moderate corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties. It can be welded in various forms, and the welded joint can reach 90% of the strength of the matrix; it has excellent corrosion resistance. It has excellent stamping performance, is easy to cut with saws and grinding wheels, and has good machining performance; it has manufacturing characteristics such as less production processes, short cycle times, high yields, and low manufacturing costs.
It is mainly used for stamping parts and corrosion-resistant structural parts with a working temperature below 360 degrees and a small force but requiring high plasticity
Application areas: aircraft skeleton and skin, engine accessories, seawater corrosion-resistant pipes, valves, and pumps for ships. Seawater desalination system components, various heat exchangers, towers, reactors, agitators, tees, impellers, fasteners, ion pumps, compressor valves in the chemical industry; pistons, connecting rods, vanes of diesel engines Spring etc.
