Mg alloy decorative panels

Magnesium alloy interior decorative panels:

Advantages:

Lightweight: Magnesium alloy is much lighter than other commonly used decorative materials, reducing the load on the building.

High strength: Although magnesium alloy has a low density, its strength is equivalent to or higher than that of other conventional materials.

Fireproof: Magnesium alloy has good fire resistance and will not burn or produce toxic gases.

Environmental protection: Magnesium alloy can be completely recyclable, which meets environmental requirements.

Applications:

Interior walls: Magnesium alloy can be used for interior walls, partitions, and other decorative purposes. It can be processed and treated with different textures and colors according to needs.

Ceiling: Magnesium alloy ceiling can be used as a lightweight, beautiful, and fire-resistant decorative material suitable for different types of indoor spaces.

Flooring: Magnesium alloy can be used as a flooring material with excellent wear resistance and stain resistance, as well as decorative and fire-resistant functions.

Surface treatment of decorative panels during production:

Sandblasting: By high-speed spraying quartz sand or other particle materials, small concave and convex patterns are formed on the surface of the magnesium alloy interior decorative panel to increase its tactile sensation and aesthetics.

Electrochemical oxidation: Soak the surface of the magnesium alloy interior decorative panel in an electrolytic tank, add electric current, and form an oxide layer of different colors and thicknesses to improve its anti-corrosion and wear resistance properties.

Anodization: A more uniform and dense oxide layer can be formed on the surface, while achieving more different colors and effects.

Coating: Various types of coatings and paints can be selected to color and protect the magnesium alloy interior decorative panel.

Sheet metal processing: Through sheet metal processing, the magnesium alloy interior decorative panel can be cut, punched, bent, etc., to form different shapes and splicing methods to achieve more complex design effects.

Post-surface treatment can include:

Polishing: Use different grit sandpaper or polishing cloth to polish the surface of the magnesium alloy interior decorative panel to remove surface burrs, defects, and make it smoother and flatter.

Baking paint: The sprayed or rolled paint is heated and cured at high temperature to form a hard and weather-resistant surface coating. Different colors and gloss can be achieved.

Film laminating: Covering a layer of special film material on the surface of the magnesium alloy interior decorative panel can improve its moisture resistance, stain resistance, and wear resistance. Different patterns and color effects can be achieved.

Carving: Through CNC technology or manual carving, the surface of the magnesium alloy interior decorative panel can be made into different patterns, designs, and texts to achieve more complex decorative effects.

Heat transfer printing: Using special heat transfer printing equipment, the design such as pattern can be printed on the surface of the magnesium alloy interior decorative panel with high definition and high contrast.

Commonly used magnesium alloy grades for decorative panels are AZ31, AZ91 and AM50

AZ31: This is a commonly used magnesium alloy grade containing about 3% aluminum and 1% zinc. It has good mechanical properties and high corrosion resistance, suitable for interior decorative panel manufacturing.

AZ91: This is a magnesium alloy containing approximately 9% aluminum and 1% zinc. It is stronger and heat resistant than AZ31 and is suitable for interior decoration applications requiring higher strength and durability.

AM50: This is a magnesium alloy containing about 5% aluminum. It has high strength and impact resistance, and is suitable for the manufacture of interior decorative panels that require higher strength and durability.

Popular specifications of magnesium alloy interior decorative panels:
